Company Profile

        On December 26, 2000, with the approval of Hainan Joint-equity Enterprise Office, the Company was established by five shareholders, including Haikou Meilan International Airport Company Limited, Central South Civil Aviation Economic Development Company and China Southern Airlines Co., Ltd. etc.

        On December 28, 2000, the Company was registered as a joint-equity company with limited liability in Hainan Administration for Industry and Commerce, with a registered capital of RMB 250 million yuan.

        On November 18, 2002, with the approval of China Securities Regulatory Commission, the Company was successfully listed on the main board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with the stock code: 00357.HK, and it was the second mainland airport company listed in Hong Kong after the Capital International Airport.

        On January 18, 2004, with the approval of Hainan Administration for Industry and Commerce, the nature of the Company was changed to a Sino-foreign joint-equity company with limited liability.

        On January 5, 2015, with the approval of the Special Shareholders’ General Meeting, the Company was renamed as "HNA Foundation Co., Ltd." (formerly known as "Hainan Meilan Airport Co., Ltd.").

        On July 9, 2018, with the approval of the Special Shareholders’ General Meeting, the Company was further renamed as "Ruigang International Airport Group Co., Ltd." (formerly known as "HNA Foundation Co., Ltd.").

        On October 10, 2019, with the approval of the Special Shareholders’ General Meeting, the Company was renamed further as "Hainan Meilan International Airport Co., Ltd." (formerly known as "Ruigang International Airport Group Co., Ltd.").

Stock Information

        On November 18, 2002, the Company issued a total of 226.913 million H shares by means of public offering and international placement on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with the stock code: 00357.HK, becoming the first overseas listed company in Hainan Province and the second mainland airport listed in Hong Kong after the Capital International Airport.

        At present, the total share capital of the Company is 473,213,000 shares. Among them, 237.5 million domestic shares is held by Haikou Meilan International Airport Co., Ltd., accounting for 50.19% of the Company’s total share capital, 5,287,500 domestic shares by Hainan Airlines Holdings Co., Ltd., accounting for 1.12%,  and 3,512,500 domestic shares by HNA Group Co., Ltd., accounting for 0.74%. The remaining 226.913 million H shares are listed and circulated on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, accounting for 47.95% of the Company’s total share capital.
