With the 2025 Spring Festival travel rush approaching, and to provide passengers with a more convenient and efficient travel experience, Haikou Meilan International Airport (hereinafter referred to as Meilan Airport), a subsidiary of Hainan Development Holdings Ltd., will adjust the check-in deadline for domestic passenger flights at Terminal 1 from 40 minutes before departure to 35 minutes before departure, starting from January 14 (the first day of the Spring Festival travel season). This adjustment allows more time for passengers to complete check-in procedures.

The "check-in deadline" refers to the time by which passengers must complete their check-in, luggage check-in, and other necessary procedures. Once this deadline passes, check-in for the flight will no longer be allowed. For example, if a flight is scheduled to depart at 9:00, the new check-in deadline will be adjusted from the previous 8:20 to 8:25, giving passengers an additional 5 minutes to complete their check-in procedures.
