Following the adjustment of the check-in deadline for domestic flights at Terminal 1, starting from March 10, Haikou Meilan International Airport (hereinafter referred to as Meilan Airport), a subsidiary of Hainan Development Holdings Ltd., will also adjust the check-in deadline for domestic flights at Terminal 2. The new check-in deadline will be 35 minutes before departure, instead of the previous 40 minutes. As a result, the check-in deadline for all domestic flights at Meilan Airport, across both terminals, will be uniformly set at 35 minutes before departure. This change provides passengers with more time to complete check-in procedures, offering a more convenient and efficient travel experience.

The "check-in deadline" refers to the time by which passengers must complete check-in, luggage check-in, and other necessary procedures. Once this deadline passes, check-in for the flight will no longer be allowed. For example, if a flight is scheduled to depart at 10:00, the new check-in deadline will be adjusted from the previous 9:20 to 9:25, giving passengers an additional 5 minutes to complete their check-in procedures.
