Departure of international flights
It is better for passengers to arrive at the terminal II hours in advance to check in. Passengers can get the information of their own departure terminal in advance by "Umetrip" or the APP of the airline.
Please go to the departures hall of the terminal with your valid certificate and go to the corresponding check-in counter of your flight to check your baggage and board.
After the baggage check-in and boarding, passengers should get to the security check and enter the airport terminal quarantine zone with valid documents, boarding passes, etc.
Attention:
If there's any passenger who carries any prohibited articles of fire, such as lighters and matches, please put them in the boxes for discarded articles or hand them over to the workers before the security check to ensure a quick pass.
The "power bank" is strictly prohibited to be checked as baggage. It can only be carried by passengers themselves (in compliance with the relevant requirements of CAAC). Please take it out before and cooperate with the security check ensure a quick pass.
There are baggage check-in posts at the entrance of the security check waiting area in Meilan Airport. Please check in the oversized, overweight and excess baggage to avoid inconvenience to the travel.
Passengers can have a rest in the departure lounge according to the number of boarding gate on the boarding card, and listen to the broadcast for boarding. Please prepare your boarding card in advance for your boarding.
To have a successful boarding, please pay attention to the information in the broadcast and display screen. Usually, the boarding time of domestic flights is: 40 minutes before the flight leaves. The deadline for the boarding of domestic flights is: 20 minutes before the flight leaves.

Please follow the navigation software or on-site road signs to the departure hall on the third floor of Terminal 2.
Passengers on international/regional flights please be at check-in row A in Meilan international airport terminal 2 departure hall at least 150 minutes before your flight departure time. The Check-in counters will be opened at 150 minutes and closed at 45 minutes prior of your flight schedule departing time. Please have your valid travel documents ready for international flight baggage drop and check-in.
Please prepare your valid travel documents in advance and go to the fourth floor of T2 to pass quarantine, customs and immigrationinspection. If you have items to declare, please go through the red channel.to do a customs declaration. If you have nothing to declare, please go through the green channel.
After the check-in and baggage drop, passengers shall go to the fourth floor of T2 with valid travel documents and boarding passes for the security check and enter the boarding area.
Attention:
Lighters, matches and other prohibited items should be surrender into the self-disposal box or handed over to the security personnel to ensure quick clearance.
The "power bank" is not allowed to be checked as luggage, only be acceptable as carry-on (the standards must meet the relevant requirements of the Civil Aviation Administration of China). Please take the power bank out from your hand-carry bag before the inspectionto pass the inspection quickly.
Meilan Airport International/regional flights has set up check-in baggage self-inspection post at the entrance of the Customs on the fourth floor. Please check-in your oversized, overweight or excess baggages to avoid any inconvenience.
Please be at your boarding gate earlier after Immigration inspection and pay attention to the respective boarding announcement or Flight information display system of your flight all the time. Under normal practice, Boarding time for international/regional flights is 45 mins before departure time and boarding gate will be closed at 20 mins before departure. Please have your boarding pass ready and board your flight through the dedicated gate number.
